A question of Aichi D3a val.

I have one question: In the film Pearl Harbour the fall fight bomber Aichi D3 Val looks quite differently than in the real one.
Were there 2 versions? I suppose that it is a converted T-6 Texan.

Greeting Mark.

You mean "Pearl Harbor" with Ben Affleck?

That movie is very inaccurate, even without the crappy romance story included. Just some of the paintschemes on the planes don't make sense. For example, a lot of the Zeroes you see sport an IJA olive-drab scheme, when that scheme wasn't used probably until the A6M3 came out. The planes used to attack Pearl Harbor were IJN aircraft, and nothing else, so 99% of them would most likely be the light grey/ white shade. (Except maybe for the Kates; I'm not so sure about those)
