this is awesome. i feel like the fields texture needs to be more vibrant though. it seems to dull next to the trees. needs more pop imo. Im really excited for you to release these though. there excellent.

These field textures are perfect! Now all we need is to have some dorniers to intercept over the channel! Big Grin hint...hint :wink:

One problem though, I have all the files in the correct place but the field textures don't seem to accept the tree tga's, so I end up with a really 2D map :? I get the nice SoW fields but theres no trees, only default ones. I've made sure that the lines in my load.ini match those in my _tex folder. BTW this is on fly_zo's BoB normandy map-I haven't tried in on any others.
Can anyone help?

ok, I've tested the field textures on Cannons exellent channel map, but again I have a very 2D background, the map textures just won't except the tree tga's. I was using the modified load.ini as specified by reflected and cannon-which worked well for reflected, but won't work for me Cry

Great work going on here!!

I tried the new BoB_fields_2 textures but they will not load. I keep getting a load.ini error for Canons map.

I am using the following text in the Load.ini file:

Bet you run the game in OpenGL mode, but changed forest param for the DirectX mode (I also did this mistake) Big Grin

Odd, thought I'd changed both to forest=3 :? Does it have to be forest=3 to get trees?

Yes, Andrey told me the forest param must be 3 in order to have tree lines alongside the texture

Well, it appeared to work with forest=1..3 provided that graphics set in OpenGL mode but not in DirectX.

Ok, I tried it with forest=3 but to no joy, there just aren't any tree lines like in fly zo's screenshot.
Is this because the tga's are conflicting with another set of tree textures?

Really not sure what do, fly zo, rus andrey, reflected and LSA have been very helpful but I just can't get the tree tga's to work.
