I just downloaded the campaign "under the white rose" from mission4today. I was quite surprised to see that it contains a R/T chatter pack. OK, let's try the British pack I said to myself, and wow...It brought life into the sim. These are real people saying things that are much more human. I enjoy flying much more now! I.E. instead of "I got one", the wav file contains a whole conversation "I got one ssh-ok, I saw it, confirmed sssh.." etc..
Although, there are some very annoying conversations which occur way too often. Also the "ssshsh" is much louder than the speech itself, but all together this "mod" is a wonderful enhancement of the stock game.

What's your opinion? Do you know about any other british R/T chatter pack?

I like it too. Although I removed many of the most annoying and repetitive ones. I replaced them with blank wavs and generic mike click samples and it helps a lot.

That is exactly what I intend to do.
Plus I replaced the ground control with the original one.

I've found another annoying thing: it's not the same actor who sais "this is red x" and the message itself, it's all messed up. How could it be fixed?

I think the Red2 thing is fixed, but if you have any tweaks or refinements of your own please post them.. We could all use it. :wink:

how could you fix it? Please tell me so I can do it myself. What's the logique? It seems that when an actor speaks, the callsign is said by a different actor. is it random, or there is a logical way? thx

I find the offending file (in this case, This Is Two) and I remove or replace it. I got rid of most of the This Is' ones. You still get the ID on the hud message anyway.
