no it isn't .... Freddy gave you opportunity to choose from cockpit with pic and without . Just look at additional files ( for cockpit with pic) and you'll notice tga file which can be edited to have custom pic . Just watch for alpha channel (transparent parts) when editing .

1 extract p51 cockpit files
2 convert tga's to editable form
3 make your pic
4a edit him file to include your tga ( define size and position)
4b or include your pic in already existing cockpit part so you don't have to mess with him
5 compile mod
6 upload it here

If I could jump in here for just a second with something actually related to modding the minimap.

I've just put up a beta mod that changes the way the mouse buttons work in both the in-game minimap and the briefing map:

- Click left button zooms in.
- Click right button zooms out.
- Click and hold middle button (normally by pressing the scroll wheel) lets you move the map around.
- Click and hold both left and right buttons lets you reposition the entire map frame on your display. This applies to the in-game minimap only, and is unchanged from the un-modded behavior.

yup, there are some which just talk( like me) and again there are some which do the work in quiet and pop up with solution .... thank god for second ones

From my question i will ask, you will surely see i am not a programmer what ever, but.....

would it be possible to detach the minimap and put it in a second monitor.?
So one could fly with a clean cockpit and at the same time look at the map on his second monitor.
Probably silly question but one never knows.......... 8)
