B-25D Strafer Skin Pack Help
#1

Hello peeps!

I'm currently working on a project of mine - repainting some skins of the B-25J I have so the glass-nose is painted over for the B-25D Strafer mod, and fixing some other things...

The vital thing to note is that the skins are not my own... I need to contact the skinners that made them for permission to upload their work here.

The work is very time consuming, I only have 1/6 skins with the glass-nose painted over. The reason being is I must be very precise - leaving the rivets intact.

This is because I want to make the skins as historically accurate as possible - at least in the business end. I am not changing the skin as a whole. So, the skins for the most part have little to none historical accuracy, but I feel I must do this so no one else will have to.

The way you guys here can help me is by uploading pics of the nose detail of the B-25D Strafers. I really need the rivet details, so I know which ones to paint over.

... And if _Harpia_Mafra55_ , and 52Zebra at M4T happen to stroll by here, please PM me to discuss some of your skins...

Thanks for the links, Monguse!

The skins are a great reference - I can see where the plexiglas panels were.

So, in your opinions, what should I do with the rivets criss-crossing between them?

To omit, or not to omit? (Just pulled off a little Shakespeare)

Always great to have a helping hand from someone who's better at this than I am!

It's all a matter of taste, I'd try it both ways and pick the one you like.

OK, I'll take your advice then.
I like it better with the rivets intact - it defines the panels better than a huge empty space with solid color.

I hope to be done in a month or so, if I'm lucky...
