Boomer, have you added it to your Custom list in conf file?
If you get it in and make some missions please post them, OK?

I added this line, yours will probably have a different number.
Custom29=NTL_Darwin_Small

just remember that name you've used in conf.ini for map must be the same as name of mission files for that map.

So if entry was " NTL_Darwin_Small" QMB missions should look like this :

NTL_Darwin_SmallAirbase00.mis

but that is discussion for mission section gents .... please continue in proper forum section

thanks

I am very happy to have the occasion to fly this new map, thanks neil !

I have found a console error message in my log, thought it might be helpful for debugging:

[1:47:44] WARNING: Bad scale (not -2, 1,2,4,8) at City2 = land/summer/NTL_Darwin_Small_DarwinCT.tga,-1

I have these ones too, i think they are related to the map but don't know for sure:

##### House without collision (3do/Buildings/Port/Floor/live.sim)
[1:47:51] ##### House without collision (3do/Buildings/Port/BaseSegment/live.sim)
[1:47:52] ##### House without collision (3do/Buildings/Port/BaseSmallSegment/live.sim)

Thanks for reading Big Grin

Hey guys,

Quote:What about trees in the water along coast lines ? Are some settings needed ?

I'm not sure which trees you are referring, there are "wood" type trees simulating mangroves. These are a compromise ingame. In reality there are a lot of mangroves but trying to use as many looked very poor. So I decided on using only a token amount.

Code:
[1:47:44] WARNING: Bad scale (not -2, 1,2,4,8) at City2 = land/summer/NTL_Darwin_Small_DarwinCT.tga,-1

Thx, I haven't noticed this myself as yet but will keep an eye out Idea

[1:47:51] ##### House without collision (3do/Buildings/Port/BaseSegment/live.sim)
[1:47:52] ##### House without collision (3do/Buildings/Port/BaseSmallSegment/live.sim)

These will appear on any map that uses those three port objects.

Hi, I have just started playing this sim. I downloaded and checked the unified downloader and set a shortcut to the version switcher. All works great. I would like to add some of these maps but I cant find the all ini file that has to be added to???

when installing official AAA map mods ( this forum section) all.ini gets installed and updated by auto installer .... so just install this great map and your all.ini will get installed automatically .

Note that all.ini is for 4.09b1m game version so if you are running 4.08 some maps will be unavailable ( but still listed in FMB) - original ones which come with 4.09 patch like Slovakia ...

This map is really a gem! The detail work on the installations, airfields etc is TOP NOTCH! Very impressive. You have done an excellent job. Being a sort of FMB-addict, I have started work on a JNAF campaign, where you fly from that small island you very wisely added to the map.

Very, very nice job! many thanks!

And now that JNAF campaign for this lovely map has been completed. See here: (The link is inoperative)
