"This P-47D-22 was flown by Lt. Richard Kik of the 368thFg 395thFs of the
Ninth Tactical Air Force.

Primarily tasked with the less glamourous but vital task of ground attack the
9thAF tends to get overshadowed by the 8th. However the "mud moving"
role didn't stop them from amassing aerial victories when the opportunity
presented itself. On the 22 April 1944 Richard Kik got the opportunity
and downed a Fw190.A veteran of dozens of hazardous missions Richard
Kik survived the war and returned home.

Sadly he passed away in September 2005 but his memory is honoured by
his Grandson Keneth Kik who is instrumental in running the 368thFg website
at www.368thfightergroup.com. This skin was created at Kens request in honour
of his Grandfather and his comrades."

Well, I'd like to show more of the 47 and show it actually shooting the 190. Got some shots like that but things were just not quite at the right angle. Looked kinda awkward. That's how it goes with in game shots :wink:

Yeah a Jug Shot thread would be great. I think I'd like to have you work on my P-51B "Shangri La" once I get some pictures uploaded if that's okay with you Fat Boy.

devil if you go to your C:/program files/ubisoft/il2sturmovik1946
and you look for the file confi.ini
open it with notepad then scroll down to "game"
n then you will se NoHudLog=0 change it to NoHudLog=1
and it wont come up, just remember to change it back to NoHudLog=0 before you go online
