Good idea, Istvan, but he orange part is too dramatic for me, i.e. looks like a piece of cardboard.
I think a general desaturization of the yellow and orange parts would look better imho.

there is nothing "cardboard" about it, in flight it looks a lot better than stock.
it is hard to get a true pic as the flash is a lot more fluid in realtime.

the animated texture uses 30 fps animation so its impossible to make screenshots of each of the 5 phases played during a second, so its better to download and try

I'll do a desaturated version in the weekend

other thing which disturbs me is the 'very yellow' reflection on the fuselage when youre firing your guns, but I got no clue how to change that, would welcome some help...

maybe its the brightness of the muzzle flash itself ???
i use the updated version of the plane shine mod, and a metalic skin. perhaps that is the issue ?
