That is simply AMAZING! That level of detail - unbelievable, fantastic!

Still, I can't keep wondering: do we really need THIS level of detail. In the cockpit, yes, but outside? Will it ever be fully appreciated? Maybe I'm just being an old fart now...

But perhaps this is the only way to go if you want to build a Flight Combat Sim that is to last.

Looks great but far too much paint chipping IMHO. These aircraft would have been pretty much clean-having been repainted from use in Spain and France.

You'd be surprised how weathered these planes could get...

Not to that extent me ol' m8. Check your references for Stukas in BoB - the Luftwaffe took great care of their aircraft (for the most part), but then they could afford the time to could'nt they? Smile

I reckon ya could get wads more detail on it, arent they 2048x2048 or summin? Needs Dents n pigeon entrails (from mid air birdie strikes) Scratches, paint discoloration, touch ups, bullet holes...lets face JU87 was a bit of a bullet magnet Smile

Still looks great, must admit the detail is yummy as I would expect considering the area to work with, the devil is in the details, I feel a lil devil in me sometimes Smile

Looks like Oleg & the Boys, are pulling out all the stops on the realism front, lets hope there arent any crazy warpy bits and mirrors, duplications etc for anyone doing a skin Job.

Lets also hope for the flyboys a kill junkies out there that the aircraft in this release dont fly like a depressed lemming juggling an effalump or two in a trabant Smile

Will skinners be needed with this game, apparantly the aircraft weather through campaign air time, I'm imagining the games coded to change the Default starter skin at certain periods, so I guess each aircraft will have at least 6 defaults with varying degrees of weather applied when a marker is reached, I wonder if the damage modelling is carried through campaign? y'know like ya catch a bullet or 2 early on in game as you would in an 87, would the holes remain there until your wasted or if ya lucky to campaigns completion?? OOOO the variations...must get me a bigger room, for a bigger, Much Bigger PC Smile

How long till its relaesed? 2 weeks? Wink

OT...is it me...or does Poltava strike anyone as being a bit of an old fart? Shhh Wink
