IL-2 log parser
#1

Hi,
one of my squad mates would like to do a coop campaign with statistics, he needs a log parser for IL-2, possibly written in php (or java) can someone help?

Thanks a lot

Mission Log Reader

Includes a customizable export function for posting mission results to a web site. Not sure how to tweak it to maintain a complete campaign stats page, though I've seen others do it.

What kind of statistics?

If you're looking for just kills, you should get the improved Dynamic campaign generator, it'll award you medals and stuf as well.

In fact, get that anyway, it makes much better missions than the stock one.

If you're looking for accuracy and other information, then I don't know how to incorporate that into an entire campaign, but that software previously linked is great for single missions to export to websites...

Thanks guys. I know IL-2 MLR, but it is an executable file, my friend needs a java or php program to run on his Linux server. And possibly the source code to customize it

Hmm... if your friend is capable of customizing the code to suit his needs, then using the stats display code from one of the Dedicated Dogfight Server management tools (IL2 Server Commander; FBDaemon) would be quite useful.

SNAP

... that's the sound of something falling into place.

Not sure precisely where to obtain the base files, but start an intensive search for the "Bellum War" online co-op campaign generator. That includes a full generator, database setup, stats display, the works. Stats display fully customizable via PHP and/or a form of .css and designed to be run on a -nix web server.

Our friends to the east side of Europe have taken the basic "Bellum War" setup and created several massive online competition leagues/wars, such as "=BY= AirForceWar" : http://war.by-airforce.com/

This should be what you're looking for. Takes .mis and .logs, puts the results into sql tables and spits out .html misison logs.

All the pilot stats (kills, sorties, kill/sortie, friendly kills, bailout etc etc.) are store in the SQL tables, so if your friend is at all capable of doing some php work, it should work like a charm.

I built some functionality around it, it's worked great for coops for me.
