Thanks - yeah it is a composite - in the sim there's no 1x75gal. + 2x165gal. load out for the P47. Come to think of it there's no P47N modelled in the game, it would have to be a new slot because the real deal had 2x5 wing rocket racks either side of the bomb mounts!



The larger tanks are modified P38 load outs as is the pilot looking up at the approaching fighters...

Don't know if it's true but check this:

"This variant could operate continuously for over 10 hours which allowed the P-47N to travel to Japan from Iwo-Jima, drop her deadly cargo, fight in air with Japanese fighters, and go back home. The auto pilot of the N version was advanced enough to allow its pilot to sleep during the transit flight over an ocean! "
