Hey fellas, where is the sound file and what is it called for that crappy intro music when you first install the game? I want to replace the file with some classic rock or something of the sort. : )

Either intro.wav or intro_fb.wav. Make sure you're looking in the samples folder that came with the original game, not the samples folder in the files folder added by the soundmod.

'46root folder\samples\Music\Menu

'46root folder\samples\Music\Intro

'46root folder\samples\Music\InFlight

'46root folder\samples\Music\TakeOff

'46root folder\samples\Music\Crash

Samples need to be MPEG Layer 3 format saved as .wav

Does anyone have anything in the correct .wav format that would be appropriate for a historical flight sim? I'm thinking of something like 'On a Wing and a Prayer' for instance or war-time Andrews Sisters hits like 'American Patrol'. Just the thing for Anglo-American missions for instance. I once found a rousing Soviet partisan song and tried to add 'Nash Paravos' to my .wavs for the game but that didn't work out either.

I ask because I tried converting my own sound files into what I thought was supposed to be the correct type of .wav file and it ended up by causing the game to crash at the fabled 60% percent point.
