Why is there so much reverb on the outside view when near the ground. Firing guns on outside view as well. Cockpit view is normal.
Sound is awful, never modified sounds other than unified AAA installer.
I was wondering that too...this is in the stock il2 as well. Way too much reverb..like planes were flying and firing inside a cathedral.
This problem can normally be sorted by playng with your sound settings - either within IL2 itself, or with your sound manager (AC'97/whatever).
For me, ingame solution to this 'reverb' is to set the 'use extensions' option in the sound menu to either on, or off............play with the options until you find the one that sounds best for you.
