These sounds give the b17 more drone and a new engine startup. I always hated the soundmods
4 engined bomber sound so i took some from a B17 airshow clip that i had. To instal just place in your il21946/files/samples folder. Hope you enjoy

Good effort. I like the sounds out-of-cockpit but the inside is iffy. I may have watched the show, 12 o'clock high for too many years and have a preconceived idea of what it should should like.

I may keep them I may not.

I agree the sounds from the external are kick ass. Take it from me bombers are all I fly.

Sounds excellent mate, good work. SFX.08 had the nice drone going but these really smooth it out to sound like an actual aircraft in flight (not like a dodgy 1940's doco about the b-17)

Which are the correct soundfiles for the in-cockpit B-17/24/29 ...these are almost silent for me

and how come there are no preset files for the b17 sounds?

@fabianfred: if you have the 9.3 soundmod you just drop em in at the samples folder
i agree that the inside sounds are iffy, that is why this is still wip
