have delated old il46 version so that i can reinstall il46 with universal installer next week .but now i am getting warning popup stating (problem with start up). the popup contains the following info
"the shortcut registration 1l -2 sturmovik 1946.lnk refers to location that is unobtainable , how do i get rid of this pop up. as simple as you can ,not computer savvy

if you have deleted the program...then delete the shortcut by right clicking on it and select delete

As fabianfred says, the shortcut you are using (from the desktop I assume) is pointing to the old directory - I guess you installed the game in a different place to before. You can create another shortcut from the .exe in the IL2 folder, or change the 'target' of the shortcut (right click and go to properties)
