Sorry for my ignorance but which root? Just the main il2 folderand in no other folders or i put it in the temp folder? im sorry

root means: basic or main (IT terminology )

so you place MODS folder coming with rar archive into your main game directory ( IL2 1946 by default)

root means: basic or main (IT terminology )

yup i got it. i thought i put it in the Il2 folder just the folder and let it sit there, then i moved it to the mods file and now its ok!
