I have the unified installer installed only as far as sound goes. On the Heinkel I have exterior sound of engines but none in cockpit. Same for the Spitfire. Any fix?

I have discovered more planes without sound. Just the internal cockpit engine sound is missing, and all the external-view engines sound the same and very very quiet.

Help. Would installing sound mod 93 make a difference or what should I reinstall?

Its strange, all Spits use motor.Rolls-Royce-Merlin.prs.
The buttons file assigns the prs to engine,therefore there are different version buttons files for each soundmod version. I had problems when I accientally installed the 0.90 buttons file for my 0.93 install. Maybe, try the 0.93 soundmod if reinstall doesnt helps.

I checked for extra button files, none. I have the latest button file. But this problem has been there throughout the last couple, that I've noticed.

I've always used the button file from AC installer for unified install. Not 93.

This is not mentioned in the MERLIN PRS. Hmmm.

No this install has been on two computers. Just moved it today. Same problem.

I can't understand why some spitfires would work and some wouldn't . They would have to be aliased to the same samples.

What file affects this? Button?

I've tried every possible up to date button file, 93, UNI, ULTimate. What else could it be. What would affect the stock Heinkels H2 and H6?

Ok I installed 093 sound mod not deleting anything in the FILES folder, should I?

I now have Heinkels and Ju88 back.

But some of the spitfires and all of the hurricanes still have only wind sound for cockpit noise.

fixed finally with these files. Must have been the prs or load files, who knows? I have all my engines.
