Not real sure what you're asking here, I'm guessing that you wish to switch versions and the switcher isn't appearing? If that's the case then the answer is the switcher is a separate program.

If you want to switch versions you need to switch before loading the game. In your IL2 root folder you will see a file called Il2VersionSwitcher.exe, double click on that and select the version of the game you wish to run. Then you can start the game normally and it will be in the version you have switched to.

You can also add a shortcut to your desktop by right clicking on Il2VersionSwitcher.exe and selecting Send to -> Desktop(create shortcut), then to switch just use the shortcut.

I don't have the icon for the mods on my desktop. where I click on it and it gives me the option to choose which version of il-2 to choose from to start.

To get that icon you need to open windows explorer and navigate to your il2 game folder, in there you will see the file Il2VersionSwitcher.exe, right click on it and send to desktop.



That will put the icon on your desktop, double click on it and you will get this;



Select which version you want and click switch & run (middle button).

I get the following error when clicking on the switcher icon.

c:\windows\microsoft.NET\framework\v2.050727\mscorwks. dll could not be loaded.

However, if I click on the individual switcher files found in my root directory I can switch without a problem.
