Actually AAA wosen't down "proper", I was able to connect via direct IP.

Seemingly some DNS servers throughout the Internet couldn't resolve "allaircraftsimulations.com" for quite some time. I noticed that even though I couldn't access the site normally myself, my entries were still being read by others (I can see that on my server logs). These means that some DNS servers did resolve correctly. It took almost a day for the issue to fix itself (DNS servers are interconnected but changes diffuse slowly), something that normally should take no more than a couple of minutes.

So ... most likely the operators behind a DNS server somewhere mangled something and are the real gremlins

Its still impossible for quite a few people in the conventional way, self included... Direct IP connection allows still allows access though, but the formatting is a mess.

Yes, formatting was way off here too when I had to use direct IP, obviously due to the use of self-referrals in the webpages.

Surprises me that access is still "impossible" in some places, it's back up again in Denmark. Confusedhock:
