Photographed at the Aeroparc at Buc near Versaillies, it is finished in the mottled RLM71/02
common during the later part of the Battle of Britain
'White 13' Uffz. Arno Zimmermann 7./Jg54
Zimmermann took part of a fighter sweep over London on the Morning of 27 September 1940.
On the return Flight III./Jg54 attackedattacked the hurricanes of 605Sqn who were climbing to intercept,
after the bounced Zimmermann was climbing to rejoin his unit when he was hit heavily and wounded he managed to glide to the coast
but was forced to belly land on the beach. his Victor was believed to be Sgt. Eric Wright.
Painted in a locally mixed scheme of Grays which came into use late during the Battle of Britain,
White 13 shows a dense type of mottle more common of Jg2 white a yellow rudder which only covers the rear 3/4 of it.

Damaged over England 'Brown 2' crash landed at Campagne France
Features the cross htached pattern common of Jg54 Emils durinf the later part of the Battle of Britain
'Black 2' Uffz. Heinrich Elbers 8./Jg54
Shot down and force landed in a field at kingsnorth near Ashford 2nd September 1940
Elbers was wounded in the foot and his engine stopped after being hit by surprise.
