Hi

Anyone see or know what happened to my post?
Was titled "AAA noob - What is this all about?" and posted here a few hours ago.

Last I looked it had about 40 views and I just got an email altering me to a response but when I clicked on the link I am told the post has been removed!! hock:
The title basically sums up the content. Was just asking how AAA came to be as I have just come back to IL2 1946 and the whole concept of modding IL2 is totally new to me. I thought it was impossible.

I have PMed the mods but no answer. :?
Was quite a long post, took some time/thought to write it. Hope I don't have to re-write it all again from memory. Would be happy to edit it if there was anything in there that the moderators may have considered inappropriate (I can't imagine what though :? )

IL-2 modding is slightly illegal but the developers comment was very minimal, they dont seem to care or talk about copyright issues...I guess thats normal with a 2001 game.
The first reaction from the online community was mixed but great percentage accepted by now and enjoys it imho...it took aprox a year. First, online cheating was a main concern but the past year proved that there isnt any danger of online play being ruined. Its all quiet and peacefull now...

Same sort of thing happend here, I started a Cold War Poll/Thread and it disapeared. I'm almost starting to wonder if there's a hacker about, because there have been so many threads deleted with no known reason... Note the "known" part. I'd like to know if It's O.K. to repost the Cold War thread, but so far I havn't gotten a reply on PM's...

Mabye the community is growing so fast It's causing some problems?...

if you've been away and interested in such matter ....please ,search through old posts and you will find how AAA stands :wink:
