I'm currently playing this never-olding game and downloaded/made some mods for it. So, if you have the game, you can download the file here.
Here's some mod list:
-Reality mod for increased weapon firing realism
-Gore mod, which gives the game some (ADJUSTABLE!) more realistic gore, like exploding bodies, better blood etc.
-Some gun reskins (for BAR, Thompson, StG-44, PPSh, Garand, Bren and some more)
-Sound mod
-Weapon choice mod (you can change weapons in options menu, like in case of gore mod)
-Ammo mod (made by myself, increases ammo capacity for Thompsons [increased mag capacities: historical 30 round box and 100 round drum mags], BAR, Bren, MP-40 and some others)

And remember, THIS MOD MAKES GAME 18+, not 16+ anymore

I'm thinking now about making an update to it that will change some weapon names to more correct ones, i.e. MP-44 to Sturmgewehr 44. I have it on my PC, so if you want, just tell me.

that 44 must have been extrmely easy to make since ak-47 is based off tye same design

You're wrong, m8, because Kalashnikov wasn't making a design copy of StG-44, he made his AK from a scratch.
