Is it possible to extract the stock game texture .tga's from Il-2? I want to modify some .tga's to create an autumn map for Stalingrad.

As well, some of the Romania .tga's seem to become distorted or corrupted when placed next to Compans' textures and I want to check them out and possibly re-do them. (I can post screenies of the mishap if you wish).

yep, grab the sfs extractor tool and you'll find the tga's in maps.sfs. You will probably have to run the tga's through the Dr Jones' tga converter before you can edit them if I remember correctly.
