I have this problem on 7 or 8 maps in QMB. I updated the ATI drivers to no avail. Same problem.


Intel quad 3.0
8 gig Corsair RAM
ATI 2600 pro 256 RAM (I know, its for audio, no fan) :wink: veeerrry quiet.

What files would be needed minimally for a map to work. I notice the Hawaii map only has a load ini and map. That probably isn't enough.

fly_Z_Britain_Autumn not what you have,need the underscores

Phillipines > needs to be spelled Phillippines two ll's and two pp's
it's in the ReadMe.

There is two mistakes in your config I see,
if that is indeed the way they are in the config?

Channel and CAN_Channel ,
for anyone that has it, are both the same missions exactly.

But they are not spelled wrong in my setup, if they were spelled wrong they wouldn't even start to load. I just spelled them wrong coming from crashing each time. I know I misspelled or mismarked a few.

Strangest thing is the list says balaton but in my QMB list it says balaton 1???????????

i do have that wrong target on some maps by my main problem is the CTD at 100% load with some of the maps.

but i am looking forward to your pack!

I just like Quick missions builder to get right into it to test things etc.

Ya I know what you mean,but better to test in FMB though
It's what it is for,only a finished set of missions should ever go into your QMB

All these single Non00.mis files are for just that , testing the maps in the QMB
At the same time ,there the worst ones as the give so many errors ...

Your map CTD has to be something other than QMB,those maps must CTD
whether your in a single mission,coop or a campaign.

If you made an accurate list of the maps,
I'll build you a set of quick flight missions for those maps.
One mission per map. you could then try and test fly those maps in single player.
To see if you get a CTD then.

You are too nice Easyrider. Its not necessary. I just tested all the above maps back on my old computer and they work fine,even balaton works. SO, either its vista 64bit ultimate, or the ATI 2600 pro video card. I've got a quad core 3.0 mhz processor and 8 GIG of RAM but maybe its just the ATI card. Redleg mentioned earlier that it might be this.

I have this card because its a fanless for my audio rig which I have been using wrongly for il2.

But I may take you up on your offer on the couple that say wrong target eventually.

I have a swappable boot driver with XP pro, maybe I'll just slide her over there.

yes even the new gw winter maps hang at 100%. It must be the video card. or vista.

yeah, 7-8 maps on my IL-2 aren't working. If you load them with QMB, it tries to load but it says error and you have to go back to the QMB, but if you try load these maps with FMB the game crashes, any tips to get my stalingrad and moscow maps back? :x
