Hope this is in the correct forum...

I've had to reinstall IL2 1946 after aircraft sounds vanished, i was using 4.08 and now after a days worth of reinstalling, i am up to 4.07 with ACES Mat manager finally working, i would like to install 4.09b patch and these wonderful MODS/MAPS...


However, i am confused as to what has to be installed next and what is compatable with each MOD, i would like to have my old MODS again but i'm not sure these will work with the different installers.

What patches and installer do i need to get to 4.09 that is compatible with these great MODS?

Dude,
If u want 2 play the game, forget individual mods and use the installer 1.1 it's the ONLY way to go!

And then choose an installer?

I thought there had been problems with 1.1?

Install game and patch to 4.08, download and install UI 1.1 and you are good to go. I think the main prob people were having was actually downloading, every man and his dog was downloading and stressing the bandwidth situation, should be good now.
