Simple copy and paste a default one, and add _it, _sa, _yu, _hr ecc ecc. with your translation.

It works fine.
Thanks for the tip, I'll include that on the next release.

Muas, would you be able to make the standard USN or USMC markings appear on the F4U-1 (Birdcage) Corsair instead of those funky blue circles and stars that show up now? It seems that the PF folks considered the early Corsair strictly an FAA aircraft.

why as a standalone?

wouldn't it be a good idea to merge these projects with new "nations and squadrons" and only have one itema that gets versionized?

having various mods doing basically similar things makes it very hard or impossible for missionmakers to use them!

this is outstanding work that should have the widest attention possible!

Yes, I totally agree with vampire_pilot, why not combine both mods with each other. At the moment they are not compatible.

Please refer to earlier posts on this thread...

Muas Wrote:Meanwhile, everyone who wants custom nations in this sim can help by providing the following:

- choose an aircraft historicaly associated with the country you'd like to have in the sim
- choose which of the ingame country fuselage codes layout better suits that aircraft
- choose which of the ingame country codes that shows on the online player list better suits that aircraft
- provide a default skin for that aircraft
Then leave it to me.
I'll do my best to add it to Marking Mods the way I believe it should be done.
Everyone can help.
Also a little bit of online testing would be fine, thank you.

Nobody else reported this, I believe it must be a bad install of one or both of these mods.

today i had the p47 crash at 100% loading but to resolve the prob i moved the new p47 pit files (x3) to the top of my mod folder by placing a '1' infront of the names and now loads ok.

p47 must have clashes with other mods tho, but this mod is ok because still loads after

Really looking forward to correct markings for US fighters. Hope it's coming along.

I suppose you must be talking about correct markings for US fighters at the Eurpean Theatre of Operations - the british style "plane in suqadron" lettering.

That can indeed be solved but it demands an intervention at the 3D model overlays that display the decals. I'd love to do that, if I had the time, and maybe I will but no compromise for now.

I made that mod for the P-47s (wish is included in this pack), with no major 3D work involved; that's why those codes still look a bit small then they should, but still I think it made a pleasant result.

Yes that's what i'm referring to; take your time and put it together when you're good and ready. Just the thought of solving this annoyance is enough
