Well I did some experimenting. I deleted the BMW801 sound wav's, ran the game in 4.08/with mods and I still had engine sounds. Then I switched to 4.08/wo mods and got what I assume is the stock sounds, which sound nothing like the sound I got from flying with the "deleted" files. I have swapped out Pratt and Whitney R2800 sounds for the Corsair, Merlin sounds, P-51 Sounds, and those work as they are supposed to. Still cannot figure out what is happening to the BMW801 sounds, could presets or other files not be correct so that when you fly the FW the game accesses different aircraft sound files other than the BMW801 wav's? If I can't get this sorted out I will move back to 1.0.......no problems with that interation.............and ya, it's that important to me.........

Vike, that is because inside the FW-190A-3 mod folder, there are additional samples and presets folders that are read first before all the rest. Just delete those.

its really simple, lol don't freak out. :lol:

Reproducible Steps: Go in QMB, select Fw-190A-5/U14 and load the torpedo. Do the same for Ju-88A-4/Torp and you'll see the difference.

EDIT : The same is for stock He-111H-6 - torpedo has only black texture

Simply copy the LTF5B folder, paste it in the same place, and rename it "45-12"

Done.

Bug: Unified 1.1 Clean Install and Remove SOUND MOD
Description: No engine sound in the cockpit. F2 and F3 view, I hear engines.

Is there a proper procedure to remove/delete all the "sounds" and just have "Mod Activator" functionality with any AAA version? e.g. 1.1 and going forward? For those folks that do not want ANY new sounds in their modification?

Suggestion for weapon name as 2x4 is in as a different weapon:
U-2VS.2fab1002fab50 = 2xFAB-100 + 2xFAB-50

The object list has increased in FMB, thank you, sadly when requesting "show" there is no image displayed by the majority of numbers.

The object can be placed on the map where you can then view it on pressing enter.

A very tedious and to be avoided operation, any ideas whats happening please peeps.

Description: Using the wind mod, whatever direction you have the wind set to come from, it will be 180 degrees different when on the ground. In the air it's correct, but during either takeoff or landing roll, the wind will be coming from the opposite direction. The transition seems to be near instantaneous upon rotation or touchdown.

Reproducible Steps: Set your wind velocity to something clearly noticeable on landing, but not too difficult to actually land normally. Try 10 or 12. Set the direction to create a 90 degree crosswind for whatever runway you will be landing on, to ensure a clear directional effect. Come in on final approach for landing and note which direction the wind is pushing you. After settling down, note which direction the wind is now pushing you.

I just want to retract my report. I figured out I was wrong. I was using car logic and not airplane logic. A wind from the left, pushes a car to the right. But for an airplane, especially with a tail dragging gear arrangement, the airplane's vertical stabilizer catches the wind and it gets pushed to the right, therefore turning the nose to the left as it rotates. My nose was being pushed into the wind, which I thought was wrong, but it's actually correct, for an airplane.

The gunsight "tinted radical dimmer" is "clear" for all FW-190's except 45-FW190D9 and FW190F8 it should be "tinted" including BF109G10 and all ME262's/GO229/ all other 109's check out ok
it is not functioning at all on the HS129's - JU88A4/torp - ME210's - TA-152C - TA-152H - TA183

First off, thanks for the mods... no complaints, though a little hard to keep them all straight.

Bug: FW190A series (at least) pilots head goes through canopy.

Description: Watching my mission reply from outside, when the pilot looks right or left, his head goes outside the canopy.

Reproducible Steps: Select a FW190 (sorry, I didn't test all types). Put it on auto pilot where enemy planes are present so the pilot looks around. Watch his head as he looks right and left.

*Caveat: I have other mods than just 1.1.1, so I imagine it could be some other conflict. Can anybody confirm?
