Well...this thread has grown a little since I last checked in.

I'll do some more testing with heavy loads to see about adjusting the catupult power. It would be helpful, if you're having trouble getting certain loadouts in the air with the catapult, if you could post the type of aircraft, loadout, weahter condition, ship speed and direction, and wind speed and direction, if any.
And if you're using the wind mod remember the WindDirection parameter is the direction the wind is coming FROM. So if you want a headwind (which you do), the WindDirection parameter should have the same value as your ship's heading (the direction your ship is heading TO). Also the WindVelocity parameter is measured in Meters per Second. One MPS is roughly 2 knots.

I THINK it may be possible to adjust the catapult power based on the weight of the plane. I'll have to look at that though.
As for the FPS hit some are experiencing, I don't know now what would be causing that. The only mod I know of so far that this one would conflict with is the PAT Smoke mod, but I don't know that that has any connection to the FPS issue.
