I got bored of the normal parachutes so I decided to paint some new ones for a bit of fun.....

Basically you have to extract 3 tga files of size 128, 64 and 32. These show up at different times depending on how far away you are from it. Being only 128 in size at biggest it makes writing quite difficult so i guess adverts won't really work lol. That's partly why i've only written F22 on it to keep it simple.

Just like the panel lines on aircraft u have to paint it in yourself etc... and since the textures change at different distances u could essentially make a 3 frame animation kind of thing lol which would look quite cool and also the text needs to be bent around in a curve otherwise it won't look right (u basically have a circle on the tga file to paint on)

And this will work for all parachutes (eg. parachuters, bailing out pilots)

If there is enough interest i may release it as a mod with a psd file with the lines on it etc to make it easier for u guys to skin.

Have a look at that newer thread i've made. It's not exactly cammo but it's a different style and probably one more favorable to most....
