Widescreen problem
#1

Hi
Does anyone know why the blue arrow isnt right on the edge of my screen also if there are any planes to my right i dont see any arrows at all,but the arrows seem to reach the top and bottom of screen ok.
Also u can see the info text is not in the very corner of the screen.

I play at 1440x900 with saveaspect=0

If i play at 1280x960 with/without saveaspect (didnt make a diference) the gauges/info and arrows all display correctly and show up on all sides of the monitor.

I hope one of you technically gifted aces here can shed some light for me please.

I had the same problem. I set il2 config to 1280x1024 disable aspect ratio. The arrows did not appear on the top of the screen. Unfortunately i never solved the issue. I just restored defaults because having no arrows is a huge disadvantage in HL.

hi guys,
My screen res is 1650 x 1050 22'' and as far as i know i dont think we can get around this problem, it's just the way the game is made ( before widescreens were main stream ).

I have a joy stick ( Thrust Master COUGAR ) that has a thumb mouse stick and i have learnt to use it to move my view around so i can track those red or blue arrows.

If there is away to get around this i sure would like to know aswell.

The arrows appear like that in Wonder Woman view simply because the game was never designed to support resolutions higher than 1024 x 768. We have gone beyond those limits with Conf.ini tweaks and now the widescreen mod. There really isn't anything wrong with your game, it's just getting older is all.
