there was a guy once, who made BEAUTIFUL worn out looking/oil/dirty/heavy usage skins...think his name might have been Tanaka or something like that. he was the KING of the worn out plane look...a true art of his. i once had dozens and dozens of his skins, but due to a hard drive crash now have ZERO...and the place where i got them no longer exists.

does anybody know who he was exactly and know if his skins are still available somewhere?

dirty shame my old hard drive lost them for me. i felt like crying over it.

Two great skinners that come to mind are Compans and IFE

yes, those are great skinners... this guy however had hundreds of dirty, oily, wornout looking skins for almost every plane in IL2. it was his forte'...what he did. and he was very good at it. i am sure his name was "something" like Tanaka...but i did a search and came up empty on it, so my spelling is probably wrong.

man, i'd love to get those skins back!
