Update 1.2(3-27-09):
When I replaced my video card and started running in perfect mode again, I realized that some textures in this mod disappear in perfect.
SS of missing textures:
I have posted an updated version that corrects this. Within the mod you have the option of normal or brighter lighting thru the scope depending on your preference.
Normal lighting thru scope:
Brighter lighting thru scope:
Update 1.1: reticle lines are cleaner and sharper. I was trying to be clever with the brightening effect thru the scope, but for those who prefer natural lighting thru the scope, that option is now available, just follow the instructions.
This mod will give you an alternative to the standard fixed telescopic sight view which I don't find to be very useful.
With this mod you can zoom and pan while in gunsight view if you wish. I understand that in RL you would lose field of view while using the scope, and I'm sure that is why the original modeller designed it the way he did.
But I contend that if you lost track of the target thru the scope you could move your head quickly off the sight to regain the target.
Anyway, since the Buffalo is pretty much cannon fodder for Zeros - you need all the help you can get.
