What kind of bombload do you think this thing will have? I heard that this plane was suppose to have an atomic payload.

Except that Germany never got even remotely close to developing an atomic bomb. And yes, I've seen the revisionist stuff on the "Nazi A-Bomb Project". It's all been debunked.

Ranwers has not made any engine nacelles.

?? His Ju88G has some nice BMW nacelles (engine cowlings, whatever you want to call them) perhaps he borrowed these from another project? In any case, slap those on the Ju188 here and we're off to the races.

@Magot: are you planning a jumo-engined Ju188 at all?

I would like very much to see this project come to conclusion as it would create
some very interesting "what-if" missions for the Il-2 game (also using the new
Luft-46 jet planes and american Jets included). Although this Luftwaffe bomber only
had 4 or 6 versions built, it never got into total mass production, but the thought is
very intriguing indeed.
I feel like a total nutcase flying around in my B-29s dressed up as Luftwaffe "Amerika"
bombers! LOL :lol: They make for some very good missions, BUT it is NOT the same
thing... it

Guys, unfortunately I have been absent for a long time and College is killing me. I even forgot EVERYTHING I've learned about 3dsmax in the meantime (have to reread a LOT of tutorials and I dont have the time anymore). But this is a work I don't want to lose. So, is anyone (or any team, whatever) interested in taking this project forward? It would be GREATLY appreciated to see this baby flying around.
