possible to fly IN a recorded track?

ok this is really for movie making applications. lets say you fly a mission, record it, and save it as a track. is there a way for the player to load, say, that invisible aircraft mod up, and fly around in the track as it was recorded and watch everything AS IT WAS RECORDED in the track without interfering with the aircraft/vehicles/ships in the track? i highly doubt its possible but it would be cool if you could.

ultimately it would allow the use of a camera ship...filming non-AI aircraft maneuvering (because you'd be watching what you already did) and without the need for a multiplayer session having someone else filming what you are doing. what exactly does a track file consist of and how does it work? is there a way to turn it into a .mis file with everything following the paths/events that happened in the recorded track?

Would be very interesting to remove the icons if the track is saved with icons.
