IJN Type5-otsu 30mm cannon x 4 will be added at J7's nose after finishing work for prototype of J7W1.

well, the shiden in another flight sim had 6, 30 mm cannons OR 4, 40mm, other flight sim i saw loadout on was heros of the pacific, not sure thats real armerment but, would be kinda nice to have a SUPER powerfull bomber killer like that

Uuum...I don't know what kind of info staff of heros of the pacific used, but as far as I Know J7's default loadout is 4xType5(17shi) 30mm in planning paper.
And this was never changed about weapon set.

They fitted 37mm to the Stuka, 40mm to the Hurricane IID, and a 75mm to the Mitchell.
None of which were designed to be used against aircraft though.

Cant think of a 40mm aircraft mounted weapon that was actually....
