Hi Bilt....

Results look pretty good, and pretty close to the best I think we could hope for using IL2.

Personally the transition at 12-seconds looks the most convincing, and the final shot too.

Maybe adding an old film effect will blur the edge-line of the overlayed B-29's and blend them in together for more authenticity.

I'm just starting to mess around with green and Blue-screen, and it's opening up a lot of options, however it would add so-much time to my Documentary that, I sticking with Green screen against the game engine background, but with effects added to the background channel.

The future looks bright for amateur historical movie makers though thanks to the Modding communuity, because there is no-way it would be possible without them.

Thanks for sharing, cheers, MP.

Hi MP...

Good to hear from you again! Can't wait for your documentary to finish... I just saw your compiled squadron mustang pic...awesome.

Thanks for tips on the clip....you are a master with these kind of finishings...

Been out of circulation with AAA for a long time, recently uploaded a couple of new mods; these guys do wonderfull and exciting work...

Busy with a new movie where I will be using all real world background with IL2 aircraft and objects overlayed. All human green screening as well. Waiting for Luftwaffe pilot props that I have ordered on e-bay...can't wait

keep well

Totally agree with Mysticpuma;

The old days of poor unrealistic moved 3D planes in movies and documentaries are over.

Now planes will FLY into documentaries.

Lots of respect!

A wide variety of ideas opens ahead... Smile
