They fitted 37mm to the Stuka, 40mm to the Hurricane IID, and a 75mm to the Mitchell.
None of which were designed to be used against aircraft though.

Cant think of a 40mm aircraft mounted weapon that was actually....

I also believe that one of the models of the B-25 mounted a 105mm howitzer modified for aircraft use. The Piaggio P.108 also had a 104mm (I think) cannon for anti-shipping.

It wasnt supposed to be a definitive list of large calibre cannons mounted to aircraft guys....
Just indicating that they were.

And also that they weren't meant to be used against aircraft.
That said though, there is at least one exception that i can think of, the Me262-A1aU4 with the 50mm gun in the nose. Did they actually become operational though?
