Nice skin! With all them rivets. panel lines, hatches and lettering, would not mind
Seeing the model with out a skin, am sure all them rivets. panel lines, hatches and
Lettering are not modeled in, if they where, that model would more then likely be
Unusable in IL2.

Theoretically, all rivets, panel lines bulges and such, could be made with a normal- or displacement-map.

Whether 1C has "discovered" this technology yet, I don't know. Big Grin Wink

Now that is very interesting!
I sure wish they made that for 3D max I would give it a try.

It has nothing to do with Max (you can do this in Max as well), rather that the game engine is not build to actually support this method.

Thanks for that info, was just out on the net looking for stuff on this and seen
That it was possible with max, but now knowing the game engine will not
Support it no need of going any further.

Or possibly for the "Korea" project, as the A1 was extensively used for interdiction there.

Sorry, those are photo's from "Galba" released on the 1C site..they have photo's of the Mig15 which are equally as impressive. Not really fair to compare them..totally different set of rules for the new engine. The AC models are quite amazing though.. I'm looking forward t Galba more than I am BoB actually..
