Question.
I have Mat Manager 2.36. Do I need to uninstall it in order to use this? It took almost an hour the last time I had to remove it. It's a big program.

In fact, we should rather say "Poland (Blue sided)" than "Poland (Axis)".
We all know that Poland has suffered a lot of the war, and I can understand that some Polish peoples, even now, may be a little bit upset when seeing this !!!

Love this mod. Thank you.
I have a few suggestions, though.
Could you make a blue-sided Thailand as well to cover when allied with Japan?
Also, currently North Korea and the PLA are blue, but the USSR is red only. And South Korea is red. USA has both red and blue sides. Why not switch the Koreas and move PLA to red? For a Korean campaign, you would then have have USSR, PLA, and North Korea on red side and South Korea and USA on blue side, as it was.
Likewise, you have many NATO countries in postwar markings (at least on later aircraft) like Canada, Denmark, Austria, Norway, etc. red sided only, and never on opposite side of communist countries. Perhaps some of these should be blue or have blue counterparts? I understand that most of these countries should be red to be against Germany early on, but for example Canada never fought Germany in maple leaf markings which are more appropriate for the NATO era.
In other words, perhaps define the red side to be always the Soviet Union and it's allies. Then blue side would be combination of wartime Germany, it's wartime allies, NATO and South Korea, etc. Arab-Isreali conflict and South America totally seperate and fine as is.
I know you've put so much work into this, and it's much easier to suggest in forum than do the hard work. I thank you again for this wonderful mod.

boogabooga...
Before putting China and North Korea as blue, I had lots of thoughts. Finally, I did it that way, because :
-it was allowing to use US and RAF with their many existing squadrons as they exist red sided (and also many other UN nations that participated in this conflict),
-officially, Russians did not take part in the conflict (Russians pilots were flying under North Korean colors) so there was no necessity to have a "blue sided" Russia,
-it was also possible, with having rhe Chinese PLA in blue, to let possibility to make missions of the Chinese Civil War.
Finally, this sim covers the 1930-1950 era... so is NATO really necessary ??? Personnally, I do not think so... if I want to fly NATO and Warsaw Pact, I prefer Wings Over Europe, in which I find F-100, MiG-17, Phantomy or Fishbeds...

Since I have installed the forgotten countries mod I have a very strange problem. When I select one of the stock Bf 109 G-6 variants in the arming/skin selection screen my game crashes. This only happens when Germany is selected as nation with switch set to "markings on", all other nations seem to work. After I removed the mod everything works fine. I have not installed any mods for the Bf 109 G-6 and I have the problem both with the UI and no UI versions of the mod. :?
OK I found the file causing problems: download the 1.02 update on the first page.
