That's effing great, man.
I have just one question.
Where did you get those enigne sounds!? They were awsome. I've been looking for a starter sound like that forever. The one tha game uses is....lacking.

Thanks man!....missing your vids on Tube!

Actually an Avenger engine start that I recorded from a Tube video; quality surprisingly good! If you wish I can forward you the sound file.
Did post some B17 starts to Lt Wolf some time ago...
Much more realistic than the B-29 footage and B-17, the lighting is almost perfect.
I'd love to have time to play around with this, but I just have to crack on and finish my documentary, and I know I'll have lots of time to play with it afterwards.
I like the hand-held effect, nicely added afterwards and adds to the realism. The only thing I would have done (if it was me), was at the very end, I'd have made it look like the cameraman had ducked or dived as the plane really was too close for comfort!
Seriously though, the effect is superb. Which chroma-key are you using? Is it the default in After effects? The keying is very effective. Cheers, MP.
Thanks MP;
I am just touching on the real potential of the green chroma map:
Besides aircraft, one can key in ANY object or special effect on video- or photographic images for instance buildings, fire, smoke, explosions, etc.
As you say MP, you need time and lots of it to properly get hold of this technique! But this is exciting and rewarding!
I use the chroma key within Sony Vegas Pro. Shake obtained from Newblue plug-in
