hi every one.

came across this site and must say, wicked and superb.it is what Il2 needed. mod community...will totaly donate to a worthy cause

this is gona sound daft, but i am stuck on the folder structure of the AAA Unified Client Installer version 1.1....

i hate to ask, but what does all this mean.

"If you have IL-2 installed, Copy your current IL-2 1946 game folder and rename the new folder"

what new folder???

"Next, Delete the FILES and MODS folders"

i don't have a FILES or MODS folder's

this is goin to take a long time, Lol

any help would be recieved ever so greatfully....

This step is a precaution in case anything goes wrong, you will have a clean copy to fall back on.

Since you have not modded the game yet, all you need is the Unified Installer 1.1 from here:
(The link is inoperative)

Follow the instructions on that page you should have no problems.

ok, i'll re read the instruction's and give it a slower pace, (night shift) yeah that's it...

if i copy the basic game folder do i have to rename the il2 game folder? and what is with the mod's folder?

and basicly do i just unzip all the unified installer files into the game foldeR?

You must not rename the game folder that you are going to add the UI 1.1 into.

The Mods folder will be created when you install UI1.1.

You download all 8 parts of UI 1.1 as instructed on the download page but you will only run the first one. It will access all the other parts and add their content into the game.

Also the bit about deleting your files and MODS folders only applies to those who have installed other mods before gettin the UI1.1, so if this is your first mod then ignore that bit. But do back up your game, or youll find yourself installing from the CD again if you get any errors
