I'm not sure if this is a U.I. bug or what, but for a while now when i go into the controls menu to rearrange button assignments i notice the set for engine power is all in russian?

the controls themselves don't seem to work anymore. I use my joystick for throttle, so i wanted to just assign the number keys to switch crew positions. Also BombBayDoors doesn't seem to be working at all. The open doors button is under "power 10" isn't it?

I just tried a career, and the career and description are all in Russian. Every Air Force.

Dorkfish, you need the English language fix - this is caused by the russian .exe used in the 4.09bm or UI 1.1 (I think)

Nathaniel, I've read somewhere else here about this problem you are having, though I don't know the fix. I guess the search function is your friend here.

Thanks, Pirate. I should have searched English and language and I would have found it. I thought it was a new problem, but I guess I have not been to career since switching to MOD version.

it seems to me that all u need is an english version of the defalut in user folder and the settings in the use name folder. take a look and open these files if they are in russian have a friend send u an eng eversion.

NathanielGreen - you are getting those weird control settings (its Polish, btw :wink: ) that would have happened when/if you installed the PAT smoke and camera mod.
It's easily edited into English, just look in your PAT smoke folder - there should be 2 folders, 3DO and i18n. Look in i18n, you will find controls_ru.properties file. You can open that with word/notepad and edit those controls back into English... :wink:

PS: there is a conflict with the smoke/camera mod and the bomb doors mod, you will not be able to open bomb doors if running the PAT mod...
