True enough, but sometimes it's just nice to have different aircraft to use in a scenario. When you fly against them for instance, they show different flight characteristics or may have different types of armament, all of which adds variety to a mission.

And in the Spanish Civil War, the Republican side did not have a great number of aircraft of any particular type, but rather a hodgepodge of whatever they could get hold of. They were happy with anything that flew, outdated or not, civilian or military, biplane or mono.

Take this skin then, as just another airplane pressed into service for the Republic. And since Republican craft were invariably marked with the same sparse and rather unimaginative markings, this can be applied to just about any aircraft of the '30's and claim to be not unauthentic looking.

Betty is the default of the game and can be flown in any mission, the SB-2 no. If you join a server where the mods are disabled or are not allowed, you can not use the SB-2.
