I have both Blach Shark and IL-2 1946. I have lots of the new maps from AAA website from modders.
This is what I and others are noticing. Taking the same area of the world and making maps of it have provided different reults for the same region and terrain.
Example Anapa:
IN IL-2 the map with Anapa is completely different than the Anapa area map in the Helo Flight Sim Black Shark. In Black Shark there are gentle rolling hills and very much farmland. In IL-2 it is very rough terrain with rolling hills, high mountain ranges and farmland..
These differences are huge!
