Hi guys

I'v just bought a new computer with a 22" screen and Im currently running IL-2 on 1280x960, but the screen is a bit squished...

Whats the best resolution for it? :?:

I use 1024X768 but I could use my DT settings that are 1680X1050 but to me it just doesn't look quite as good. Just play with it and see what looks the best to you

And yes I have a 22" screen, just to be clear...

Sorry m8 but what does "DT" mean...

if on LCD monitor you should always use its native resolution to get the most of it .... it should be specified in user manual , or just google for it

hammond, i'm sure he's referring to 'Desktop' with DT.... :wink:
Don't know if this will help, or just confuse things, because mine's a 21", with dektop settings on 1280 x 1024, my IL2 runs in 1600x1200..... 8)

you might not have you desktop on full res. I two have a 22" i run the game and desktop at 1280X1650

The only problem is that there's a slight disadvantage. It's harder to see contacts.

be aware that you need to re-enter those values each time after running IL2 setup ( they will be set back to default)

My DT is at his Max. 1680 * 1050 LCD Samsung SyncMaster T220HD 1080P
In the game i manage config.ini to give me the most accurate image , minimal distortion.

This rsolution is NOT a preset Res my monitor can deliver , so i get into nVidia Control panel and in "Manage Custom Resolutions click on " Create " enter the new one 1600*1050 , Test it , apply but WARNNING deselect de "ALLOW Modes not exposed by display" After the new Resolution accepted.
