WOW what an excellent mod this is, thankyou, thankyou thankyou.

However I do have a couple of requests.

1) is it possible to model some sort of visual steam affect?

2) is it possible to use a different key to lock into the catapault? A couple of times when pressing chocks in I have inadvertently immediately pressed 'release chocks' as well, I think this is because I was too long on the 'chocks in' key needless to say I got wet :oops:

In my mind if we had a different key setup to lock into the catapault it would prevent two problems the first being the one I described above and the second being the problem of aircraft taxying to the front of the deck to clear the deck who accidentally lock into the catapault when putting chocks in.

Other than that this is truly a fantastic mod and something Oleg really let us down on by not including in the first place.

No steam catapult in WWII, they were hydraulic. A sound effect would be a nice addition. Smile

But the idea of an extra sound on takeoff would be good and I still stand by my suggestion of an alternative 'attach to catapult' button

Fireball, any success yet in getting the AI to, "follow the leader" to the cat? I know this must be a tough nut to crack. Really love what you've done so far. Please don't give up, your efforts are much appreciated.

I've made a little progress on this over the past week. The AI using the catapult will be part of an updated Carrier Takeoff mod. Hopefully in a couple weeks.

This is a great mod! Any chance this new version will be compatible with certificates AI mod? Having those two mods working together would be fantastic! Thank you for all of the work put into this!

Great news. This is a real dream come true, and with the F9F coming out it will be perfect!

Fireball, great mod, its fun to play with. I seem to be having an issue in getting it to work with DCG however, Do you have any ideas on how to fix this or what the issue may be? Thanks.

Hmmm...I've never used DCG but I'm not sure what would be causing that.

Does it not work at all in a DCG mission?

If its loaded and your trying to run a DCG Mission, the game doesn't seem to load properly. You get sky and ocean(I fly carrier ops) with a horizon line accross the screen and thats it. Nothing else, no planes, no carrier, no clouds, nothing. It breaks the game. You get sounds. So at least currently you can not fly with the mod and DCG.
