I have about a 2 1/2 to 3 min wait because I have over 50+ mods (effects, planes, etc.)

I have to wait a good minute or so. The same goes for when I'm loading up a mission, although the size of the map seems to affect that.

oh, about 30 seconds

with all possible mods in part I allocated most of the mods into RAM, so it accesses it much quicker

My load time has increased quite a lot. I figure around 2 min, and that on a quadcore.

There seem to be quantum leaps in load times too. For instance I was able to fly through loading of 30-90%, with just a small pause at 70%. And now after installing a few mods, the 70% mark suffers a long lag-time, almost as much as the 20% mark.

I must confess though that I have 234 directories in my mods folder. Probably far too many, but I will admit to being a glutton on that account.

My load time has gone from 5 seconds to 3 minutes. Some of the people I fly with online think its UI 1.1, as do I because IL-2 used to load a lot faster with UI 1.0.

What is loading at 20% and 70%?

Those are the longest pauses for me.

I have dumped a lot of stuff I do not need from 1.1 but load times are still long.

Well, when I double click the game icon, I have to wait 5 minutes, before it gives me loading screen.
Ain't that long, last time I've checked, it gave me about 7 minutes, and the other day didn't started at all.


But that's the price for having loads of wonderfull stuff in mods folder

5 Min?? hock: And thats with a quad core......holy man your patient....I would never wait that long.

With the mods installed and extra candy mine went from non mod 10-15 sec to about 40-50 sec modded and thats with just a duo core.

same here a delay of about one min at 20% then 2 or more at 70% im about 3 and a half mins to load.

I've noticed that load times also vary depending on what you were doing just previously with your machine.

After using memory intensive applications, loading Il-2 takes considerably longer. And if you have to close and immediately reopen Il-2 for whatever reason, then the loading goes far quicker ...

I have just the UI 1.1 with patch and my game loads in around 6 or 8 seconds for my map maker install

I have another install of UI 1.0 with numerous maps ,aircraft ,skins and extra music files ete ete on a secondary internal hardrive
it also loads in around 8 seconds

My spec's ,
HP desktop with
Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q8200 @ 2.33 Ghz
RAM 6.00 GB
NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GS
750 gb sata hardrive

It may have a bit to do with how fast your computer can read everything

Put it another way - I have some 4 gig of mods ... they are all read while the game loads I surmise, so the more mods the longer the load time ...

Members with 8 second load times and such lightning loads - what's the size of your Mods folder? (excluding maps)

IL2 regular i ca go from desktop to In game playing in 35 seconds

Since i got the mods the time has been lifted to about 1:15. And i have like every mode ever released.
