Is this supposed to be this aircraft carrier ?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japanese_a ... er_Shinano

If you can get a copy of this book it tells about the first and only voyage of the Shinano.
Shinano: The Sinking of Japan's Secret Supership

This mod is a cool addition either way though. Big Grin

The Shinano Maru is NOT the so called "super-carrier" Shinano .

It is just a generic escort carrier like the Kaiyo, being a converted merchant ship.
The name is from a 1904 merchant ship used as a auxiliary cruiser and spotted 1905 the russian fleet at Tsushima.

Hi Archie 1971,

I would like to thank you for your much needed contibution to the Japanese side of "small" escort carriers.

When I started to use this mod in game I noticed some textures missing from the "Bridge" when viewed from close up. As you fly farther away the textures start to appear as per normal. I later ran a test involving flying a Zero into the "invisible bridge" to see if the damage textures show up, which they did.

I am not sure if this problem is limited to me only and have submitted a picture to illustrate my experience.

Regards,
Paul.[/img][Image: TextureMissing.jpg]
