[Poltava]

This is a semi-historical, 13-mission static campaign, set during the Summer and Autumn of 1941, and using Kapteenis Kt_Finland Map. You are Finnish Fighter Pilot in LeLv30, flying the Hurricane I, later you will switch to LeLev 32, flying the Curtiss Hawk. For now the task of your unit is to protect the southern parts of Finland from enemy incursions. Also you must help to keep an eye on the Soviet fortified enclave at the small peninsula of Hanko - they have their own air units there. And eventually you will participate in the campaign to push the Soviets out of their big base...







The campaign has been designed it so it can be run smoothly on middle-range computers, i.e. there are not enormous amounts of aircraft in the air at the same time (as in real life), and I have kept the amount of FLAK and extra objects down a bit.







Included in this campaign is 4 Finnish Airforce skins, by Canon_UK, IFE and Porsimo.







There is a variety of missions to be flown: most of them are Patrols or Fighter Sweeps (again as in real life) but there are also escorts, recce, bomber intercepts, ship strikes, ground defence, strafes. Your most common adversaries are I-16's and I-153. Which means a lot of real dogfight action!







You also get to do some flying in REALLY bad weather. And in good!
