Please tell me which sound file stands for the B-17's guns' sound.

I pretty sure B-17 had 50cals all around, so it would the the 50cal prs and 50cal in the samples.

Yes, but they don't sound like 50 cals, I mean like the ones on fighter aeroplanes. So I guess the game uses a different sound file.

Oh, I see, well there many dirferent 50cal sounds on this site as well as the Ghost Files site.
To many to name the authors, do a search of the this site an find a sound you like best.
I guess it's a matter of personal taste.

Just want to point out that items can sound different:

Engines sound different, dependant on the aircraft/frame it was mounted in.
Guns/50 cals (should) sound different in other cockpits, so in a big hull like a bomber, they should sound louder with the echo and no windshield/firewall between you and the gun.

Dunno if there are different sound files or presets for the 50 cals, when 'played' inside a bomber.

OK I've found it:
the ball turret gunner uses the exterior sound in internal view. That's why I got confused. Thanks for the links, nice sounds!
